Who are Wilson Ainley?

Alton Ainley

Alton is a Chartered Psychologist and spent over 10 years in two consultancies before establishing his own business in 2001. His consulting assignments have spanned a range of industries from investment banking to aerospace, food manufacturing to insurance, from retail to IT, plus a few more!

From graduates through to senior executives, Alton has worked extensively with international clients on high profile talent management and leadership development projects and has conducted over 800 assessments for the development, promotion or selection of candidates for business-critical roles.

He's a great believer in 'keeping things simple' and building solutions that are pragmatic, client-focused and effective. 

Alton is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Association of Business Psychologists and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

Jane (Wilson) Ainley

With a background in marketing and an instinctive customer focus, Jane has always championed a customer-centric approach to business.  She established herself as a business consultant in 2002, after twelve years' commercial experience in the fields of publishing, education and IT.

Technology organisations remain an industry of special interest and involvement for Jane – they operate in a highly dynamic and innovative market that thrives on change and improvement.  This very environment of fast technological development can often unwittingly leave the customer experience trailing in its wake. Jane has helped a number of software and technology-driven companies redress that balance.

A whole range of other industries have also benefited from Jane’s pragmatic, customer-led approach to
business improvement: from leading high street stores and supermarkets to not-for-profit organisations and
B2B partnerships.

Working closely with Executive Boards and business leaders, as well as operational managers, teams and individuals, Jane enjoys the challenge of transforming business strategy through creating a culture of
'total customer focus'.

Jane is a Chartered Marketer, a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and of the Institute of Customer Service.
